Our History.

Friends of Karansi started in 2018, in which the ideas of Pastor Joshua Laiser, Frank Swai and Piniel Samwel came together to help the society in Karansi and Northern parts of Tanzania. They saw a society with poor and marginalized people in whom they thought together to formulate an organization a tool for helping them. Children, Youth, and women are more affected. A high number of children in Karansi cannot afford to attend school. Many live in poor, marginalized families who cannot afford proper education. Only poor health and nutritional services are available in the community of Karansi.

Friends of Karansi in cooperation of academic institutions has established some programs like supporting school fees, food supply and various training for self-development.

The vision of Friends of Karansi (FOK) is to change the life of the community and to bring a better and adorable future.
